Does Formiga miss the next match again if Brazil advance? Or did her old yellow cards get wiped out when she was suspended...

Winning yes, but we just barely won most. I feel our current defense is not as good. Rampone was key in us stopping brazil in the past.

    Naah.

She is GOAT. She is, also, a good eight years past her prime.

She’s never won anything and a big reason for that is that she fails to deliver during big games

Le Sommer has blown two major chances in the second half. Color me unimpressed with her entire tourney.

A suspension resets the card count. So Formiga has one yellow at this point. However if she gets another in the next match if they go through she would not miss the semis as cards are wiped out after the quarters.

Abily was slowing down but still a good link up player. Necib absolutely— she was special. And only 32 right now.

I think resets once serves suspension but could be wrong

Abily would still be a better choice than Busagglia imo

Is Claire Lavogez even in the French squad?

Color me unimpressed by France as a whole with the exception of Game 1.

That said, they did dominate the USWNT just a few months ago. o_O

Agree. it is always a brawl and we burn a lot of juice in the games. They are almost always full time plus extra

No, Diacre doesn’t like her. Same as Katoto. It’s a personality thing.

That was in a pretty much meaningless friendly and there was some experimenting on both sides.

I don’t think that is correct.
I think cards are wiped at the semis. The idea is that you can’t miss the final for cumulative cards.
But I think a second yellow in the quarters still suspends you for semis.

    I think

One game at a time. Get past Spain first. Then the U.S. can worry about the quarters. We can't will this match into yielding one result or another anyway.

I know Fox announcers don't necessarily know what they say, but why then, when Formiga was subbed out, they said somemthing along the line that "This is most probably the last match of Formiga's NT career"? They know something we don't know about the fact that Brazil won't advance today? o_O
