    Good game by Guti.

PSV is looking stronger, only Rosario seems to have lost his football skills.

PSV is doing a good job of making Guti improve his other skills.

At least Guti is playing. Don’t see him making a huge improvement but he adds depth to our midfield

PSV makes it official. That's good enough TBH. Opening the new thread back up.

  6. Yup. He's becoming more complete as a player. Good to see results of him paying attention.

EL, starting again but this time higher as an attacking midfielder behind the striker Malen. Hendrix playing in his normal deeper role. Seems like an experiment by coach who will not be named.

Guti slowly winning a starting spot at PSV. Good for him.

From what I’ve read, it was from a hit he suffered in the first half.

Thought it was classic Guti on autopilot with the slow jogging around and the safe, short passes. I’m assuming he just took it easy because of the opponent.

I’d be interested in knowing how he thinks he’s contributing when he’s playing like that. His lack of athleticism still scares me and he often goes full games criminally underutilizing his passing abilities, which should be his strength. Dude also looks gassed early on and sometimes takes ages to make easy decisions, letting the opponent get back into position. It’s no coincidence that when he was replaced by Hendrix, everything changed.

  19. Exactly. He was making the wrong moves, let holes appear behind him that caused dangerous situations.
Dutch clubs are different from those in other leagues. In those other leagues the bottom clubs go into bunker mode and park the bus. So not much chance of being attacked. However in the Netherlands when possible bottom clubs go into the attack, even against PSV, Feyenoord or Ajax. In that light not being concentrated means you will be scored against before you know it.

    Rating by AD Sportwereld:
    RKC – PSV 1-2
    RKC: Vaessen 6; Gaari 5, Meulensteen 5,5, Drost 6,5, Quasten 6,5; Rienstra 6,5 (88. Daneels), Spierings 5,5, Tahiri 6; Maatsen 5,5, Vente 5,5 (77. Sow), Elbers 6,5, (64. Bakkari -)
    PSV: Zoet 6; Dumfries 6, Baumgartl 6,5, Viergever 5,5, Boscagli 5; Rosario 4,5 (63. Mitroglou), Bergwijn 5,5, Gutiérrez 5,5 (55. Hendrix 6,5), Gakpo 6 (77. Bruma), Malen 6, Ihattaren 6,5
    Scheidsrechter: Blom 7
Man of the match: Mo Ihattaren is nog jong, maar hij nam PSV in de tweede helft bij de hand in een meer centrale rol.
