    Tonight, San Lorenzo 0-0 Chivas.
Once Caldas 0-0 Cobreloa (still playing). If the last result stays, Chivas is already through with two games to play. Maybe you're right and this was not the group of death. ¡Vamos Rebaño! :D

    Group of death:

    Bolivar 2 Danubio 0

All are now have 6 points and as i've predicted all have won their home games.. this INDEED is the group of death.

    Danubio 4 2 0 2 7 5 2 6
    Santos 4 2 0 2 10 9 1 6
    Bolívar 4 2 0 2 6 6 0 6
    LDU 4 2 0 2 4 7 -3 6

Now each have 1 home and 1 away game... two games for each. It will be 4 games that are "must watch" status.

    Group of death:

    Danubio 1 Santos 2

Finally a home team didn't win... this pretty much means Danubio is out since they will have to play away in their next and last game, which I doubt they will even get a tie in LDU.

    Following games are:

    Bolivar vs. LDU
    Santos vs. Bolivar
    LDU vs. Danubio

Well it looks like Chorri's gol gave LDU the ticket to the next phase of the Copa Libertadores.

    Following games are:
    Santos vs. Bolivar
    LDU vs. Danubio

Looks like Santos and LDU are both in to the next phase.

Group 1: Not decided yet, could be any two between DIM, America and Paranaense.

Group 2: Any one can classify but seems like Santos and LDUQ have the upper hand, playing at home their last games.

Group 3: Sao Paolo and U. De Chile have the upper hand. Strongest seem to be out of contention.

Group 4: Cerro has the better options, but Palmeiras and Santo Andre can Clasiffy to.

Group 5: River is through, Junior has the better option, but the group is not done yet. River has locked homefield advantage for the remainder of the tournament. Remember that Conmebol is going to rank teams 1 to 16 based on first round performances, and play a playoff kind of tournament.

Group 6: Tigres and Banfield classified.

Group 7: Chivas has the upper hand and San Lorenzo is eliminated. Cobreloa and Caldas need to win abroad and for the other not to win in order to classify.

Group 8: Boca is in the next round and Pachuca plays at home against their direct rival, Sporting for the second spot.

It ended up being a pretty competitive tournament. Only 4 teams classified for the second round with basically one matchday to go!!!!!

aha, so I wasn't the only one that thought that game was just too easy? I mean I like the fact that DIM won, but it was just too freaking easy, América wasn't the same América that played and lost in Brazil to be made to look like such fools by DIM.

You know, and speaking of that, I think CONMEBOL should make it a rule that two teams from the same country can not be drawn in the same group, if they are they should draw between them two to see who stays in the group and who gets thrown back in the mix, is obvious that the two teams will help eachother mutually......
