They also need a seeding system to keep group balance, the strength between groups are unbalanced obviouslly this year all of the 8 teams in quarter final are from 4 groups, when they made the draw of group stage they just put League Chanpions in pot 1, Cup winners in Pot 2, League Runner-ups from big Leagues + Champions of minor League in pot 3, and qualifier winners in Pot 4, this format could not represent the quality of teams correctlly. previously AFC provided annual ranking for clubs, this site rank the clubs almost by the same mathod used by AFC http://globalfootballranks.com/en/Continent-Teams-Ranking/3/2017-04-01 according to their November 26 2016 rankings, if the ACL draw is base on that, seeding pots should be like this. http://globalfootballranks.com/en/Continent-Teams-Ranking/3/2016-11-26 West Asia Pot 1 Al Hilal; Al Ain; Lekhwiya; Al Ahli (Jeddah) Pot 2 Bunyodkor; Estghlal; Al Ahli (Dubai); Al Jazira East Asia Pot 1 FC Seoul; Guangzhou Evergrande; Suwon Bluewings; Western Sydney Wanderers Pot 2 Urawa Reds; Gamba Osaka; Shanghai SIPG; Jiangsu Suning In west asia, 3 of the 4 teams in QF are actually from the Hypothetic Pot 1 While in East asia, is a total mass between strong teams, with Seoul, WSW,Urawa and Shanghai actually draws into the same group, GE grouped with Suwon, Gamba grouped wth Jiangsu, if they use the above pots teams like Mungthong and Jeju may have no chances to qualify from group stages to make numbers
That is not their first time doing this. Korean NT staff punched our sub GK in WCQs 2014 match in Seoul after they lost to us 1-0.
They did it again this week. These idiots will never learn from the past. That's why they never apologize for their war crimes. J-League has a serious discrimination problem. It would be OK to treat champions (of big four) as pot1 teams (as in UEFA since previous season) while rest should be divided using coefficients.

Strong draw for West Asia and no one can be picked easily - Hilal vs Ain will be interesting to watch since Ain is scoring freely these days and if at all Nasser Shamrani stays back with Ain he will be facing his former club plus Zoran Mamic coached Nasser FC of Riyadh so he knows well Hilal. Ahli vs Persopolis will be interesting pick too since Ahli will be all out to close the season with trophy and will be serious in the game..
So where will Ahli vs Persepolis be played given "Qatexit"? I'm assuming both games in Oman, or maybe Oman / Kuwait?
I don't think it can happen if the ground was not used for official AFC matches..It should be Oman and UAE/Jordan... Kuwait is out question since FIFA has banned them...
Poor game by Perspolis. However the referee denied 2 clear penalties. Well not surprising: Saudi team, Jordanian referee.
This is where you're mistaken, and why you're having trouble understanding. The flag is generally not thought of within Japan as the same thing as the Nazi flag. The Nazi flags were created for a specific purpose, to represent a specific government and a specific cause. When that cause was defeated, the flag lost all meaning, and flying it became a statement of direct agreement with the old cause. The rising sun flag was adopted way before pro-fascists came to power in Japan, and was a symbol of Japanese military during the pre-fascist era, including wars with China and Russia, World War I, where Japan fought on the allied side and Siberian intervention. And its variations are still flown as naval ensign and banners of the current Self-Defense forces. Only Koreans and some Chinese consider the rising sun flag offensive. Your unhealthy obsession with the flag is insane. Unfortunately we invaded Taiwan and Southeast Asia too but they don't give a damn about the flag.
It will be awesome to see Persepolis qualifies for the next round. Apparently, CAIS ruled in favor of Iran to have the matches vs Saudi teams played in Iranian soil and not a third country. Imagine Al Hilal vs Persepolis in Tehran and Riyad in front of more than 50k fans.
