I'll refrain from laughing till May of 2013, but that news is delightful.

Not a surprise, considering they have picked up Podolski and Giroud. Good news though.

Well they set a clear precedent, letting players get down to the last year of their contract then selling them to City. What's even worse, those players went on to pick up much higher wages and now a league title. Not a surprise to see RVP wants to take the same path.

We may lose Modric and eventually Bale, but at least the club has protected itself with long contracts. Arsenal relied on teams still wanting to pay big for players with 1 year left, but looks like City have wised up to that and RVP is helping them in their negotiations.

Let's see where Arse are at Christmas before we count the chickens. CL advancement and five/six points from the top and I can see him staying.

i personally don't think the situation being that nice for shity. they got a bunch of overpriced and overpaid forwarders which will be difficult to get rid, and this is exactly what they need to do if they're going to add another high quality forward player:cool:

it means they will be more desperate to ditch there fringe players for much cheaper than they would have ideally wanted. It helps us get Adebayor back but it also doesn't answer the main issue, which was his wages.

Not really trolling if it's true. But fair enough...I'll keep the banter elsewhere.

Appreciate it. Spurs have won a trophy more recently than Arsenal have, by the way. You can respond with banter now, you seem like a decent guy, despite your early 2000s Counter-Strike user name.

'Arry's name gets put about for the Russia vacancy on the same day it's announced that Osel's house was burglarized. Anyone believe that's purely coincidence?:D

Anyone watched that Brazil-Belarus Olympic game? Oscar is such a good player, a pity we missed out on him. Praying Levy can sign Neymar who is the MOTM today. :D
