Zinho to play in the U.S.

    He's joining Miami FC, a new club in the USL First Division.

    For those who don't know, Claudio Taffarel is the team's goalkeeping coach too.

    Miami plays in the same league as my Atlanta Silverbacks, so I'll get to see them at least a couple times this season.

    Also, USL First Division basically is the second division here in the U.S. behind MLS.

    That's pretty interesting. I didn't know that Taffarel was in the US!

    I was wondering though - I thought that people considered the A-League as the level directly below MLS.

    That is correct Alex, MLS = 1st div. and USL = 2nd even though the USL would like to be considered 1st.

    USL First Division = A-League

    They changed the name of the league before last season.

    The phrase was said in 94 during the shootouts against Italy....

    He had stopped Beresi I believe...
