    So Zidane played his last game at the Bernabeu for Real Madrid.

    It was an emotional game and though he didn't play at his best he did score a crucial goal.

    I wonder if people realize that he is one of the greatest that ever played the game.

    Hats off to Zizou!!!

    We Madridistas realize that. There was a banner during his last match at home that said something like "ref do not blow the whistle because Zidane is leaving us"

    On the official site it said GRACIAS ZIDANE, GRACIAS MAESTRO. EL BERNABÉU SIEMPRE SERÁ TU CASA ;
    Thank you Zidane, Thank you Maestro, The Bernabeu will always be your home

    That's why we're extremely happy when we found out that Zizou will be coaching our youth teams. I can't even imagine the talents he'll be producing. His son Enzo (and I think also theo) are currently in Real Madrid's youth system. Hopefully there will be another Zidane to play at the Bernabeu

    Best of luck to Zizou and to France on the WC. iHala Zizou!

    Yeah guys, my eyes actually teared up (just a LITTLE, ok?! :)) when he was waving to the crowd.

    "Maestro" is the perfect word to describe him.

    No, but it sucks when you can't watch your favorite player anymore.

    I will cherish every France game this World Cup. ;)
