i read about this in olivier cena's chronique in télérama, but hadn't seen it until now. he's right. it's horrid.
Didn't read OP. That statue is several years old and displayed in doha, qatar in a museum, not paris.
well, not several years old... but about time to melt it down. or sell it to a persian gulf state. i think it's actually displayed on the waterfront somewhere.
Its tacky and hugely disrespectful to a footballing legend, like that's how people want to remember him.
