Wouldn't surprise me if it was real, anyone remember "les bleus dans les yeux" with Laurent Blanc smoking in the dressing room?
looks like a photoshop (the cig is actually just past his fingers, so why is he holding them like that) but you never know.
or his hand is reaching for the cig that is in his mouth. oh well, people smoke. he certainly won't be breaking a stereotype if it were true.
i don't think it's either photoshop or reality, a simple play of light or a reflection on the window.
looks real enough to me- but then again, im a smoker so i see cigarettes everywhere former danish national team striker and verona star Preben elkjær larsen (played in euro 84 88 WC 86) smoked in the breaks in the locker room when he played for denmark- every game! under a german coach! he smoked so much that he would even embarrass a Greek he played 69 games for denmark and scored 38 goals http://www.prebenelkjaer.com/mltmd/video/8485_3.WMV one of his many goals for verona
Well, he's French isn't he? I think dining next to what appears to be a shirtless Willy Sagnol would cause me to lose my appetite.
no dont think he is- but my story was smoking related so still on topic. which reminds me of a story when i was in amsterdam.....
I think this is true. Zidane's attitude is non normal for a non smoker. Then there's twe malboro packets on the table. I don't think they were added by computer. We know that Barthez smokes, and lots of football players used to smoke. To be honest, if he stay at his best for this final, I really don't care.
I think it's real and so does this guy. "He is an idol and a role model. Upon seeing a picture of Zizou enjoying a sneaky cigarette after training before the Portugal, several million French teenagers instantly took up smoking." http://soccernet.espn.go.com/column...=worldcup&cc=5901&lpos=spotlight&lid=tab1pos2
Take a took at my tribute to Zinedine Zidane, watch as he enjoys a smoke after a hard day at the World Cup.... It's at http://cal-tv.net/zz.html
Seeing him smoking and headbutting people, it's a shame there are no longer any MLS clubs in Florida.
Come on, in the 70s you had players smoking during half-time break... those were the days! (Disclaimer: smoking is still bad for you )
Gianluca Vialli openly smoked two packets a day, both as a player and a manager. If Chelsea fans remember on the pitchline, he'd take a puff once in a while. Though, it may explain why his football career ended at the age of 30, while Dennis Bergkamp -who, to this day, is rigorously conscious of his health; doesn't smoke and is a teetotaler (nags other teammates for doing either or both)- finished off his career at the ripe-old-age of 37. The man still has a diet of pasta and fish. Arsene would be proud. Lol.
yeah...well back in the 30s....us strikers could play with a cuban cigar in our mouths...and when we scored a goal we smoked a blunt for the occasion, and if we missed we still smoked a blunt;
