  2. i can't believe the article said this, "Japan's match against the Caribbean nation on October 16 in Tokyo will be the first match between the two sides since their meeting at World Cup Finals in France four years ago when Jamaica's Theodore Whitmore scored a brace to hand the Japanese a 2-1 defeat." Japan squashed Jamaica 4-0 in 1999 in Morocco

Zixo wants the foreign contingent back, namely Nakata, Nakamura, Ono, Inamoto and Suzuki.

Fulham and Feyenoord aren't exactly excited.

It isnt really something that they are able to complain about. FIFA designated the whole week of that match as an international fixture week, so clubs have no choice but to release players.

As for the roster, Zico has not decided it yet. All he decided was that all the overseas players will be included, so that he has a chance to meet with them and develop a relationship of player and coach. The players from the J.League who will be included are still not determined, and probably he will not make his decision until after watching a few more matches (at least the ones this weekend).

Are there any notable confirmed additions or deletions to the squad?

As I just finished saying, immediately above your post, the team has not been decided yet.
The roster probably will not be announced for at least another week or so
