KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany (AP) -- Kaiserslautern midfielder Ferydoon Zandi suffered light injuries Monday when his car crashed into a U.S. military tractor-trailor.

The Iran international was examined in a hospital and released later in the day. The driver of the military vehicle was also slightly injured, the club said in a statement.

The accident happened on a highway between Kaiserslautern and Mannheim, southwestern Germany, when Zandi was forced to swerve to avoid a car that left its lane suddenly to start overtaking.

Lets hope hes not injured too badly and will recover in time for the Japan game. I hear he got another booking and will thus miss his next club match. Good chance to rest and get better.

  7. Shut up.

    by the way
Zandi is a cool guy like me.
He doesn't look like ordinary iranians.
He resembles his German mother I think.
    I also resembles my mother.
I heard generally speaking sons tend to resemble their mothers and
daughters tend to resemble their fathers.

Anyways you are coming up to a nightmare.
