I think there are several teams underneath us who would disagree with that statement.

Diallo is still not 100% and thats why he didn't start.

    serg, lol.....sad but true...

remember in the beginning of the season how excited we were about the depth and talent of this years team....

all of that, and we forgot to notice the coach.

Just 2 months ago, some people here were saying he could be USMNT material. Personally, I like Jeff Moore as a player.

You kinda have to wonder what goes on at practice each day.

    My question is this:

After a somewhat convincing win (OK, maybe only mildly convincing) over Dallas last week, what kind of coach goes and changes the line-up - taking out 2 of the starters who performed well?

Oh - the same guy who changed formations so that the defense that was among the league's best last year now looks like a bunch of kids in an elementary school gym class.

I hate to say it but I still think trading Orlando Perez was extremely dumb... although not the greatest player our defence looked a lot better back then. He was almost dependable.

The title of the post says it all....Unless Metros win the East and/or MLS Cup (bets anyone?) I think Zambrano should be canned and a foreign coach brought in. In the right scenario, I really think a foreign coach could work wonders with the Metros...

"this guy is terrible, he cant sub right"

I think he is a good coach. I also think he is very good working with young players.

I think yes your right, he is absolutely terrible substituting in players. One of the reason why when we get behind we stay behind.

The only reason to make a substituion at this level is to improve the team. When he makes a substition the team hardly ever improves their game.

Brad Davis absolutely must start tonight. With Reyes out for DC, Davis could absolutely terrorize the left side of the field. If OZ doesn't get him out there, I'm gonna lose it.

If OZ can't see that Davis needs to be in the starting line-up then maybe he is a bad coach. Davis is very good play maker. He can hold the ball and he makes great passes to faria and mathis and diallo. Did you see that flick pass he made two games ago, which lead to a goal. when he isn't in the game we constantly loose the ball in mid field and mostly on the left side of mid field. zaidi and moore don't belong there.
    tonights line-up I hope.
Diallo/ faria and mathis up front
davis, williams, tab, and pauli in mid field
petke, jolly, akwari, and moore in the back.
    Please OZ read this.
