A measure of desperation, DC United is about to sign former Rapid Henry Zambrano. This league is amazing. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A19330-2002Aug14.html (bottom third)
Betcha he scores on us. Oh, wait. We've already played them twice. That would mean we'd have to face them in the playoffs and -- oh lord, I can see the circle coming full.
The MLSNET article says he was on-loan from MLS since he left the Rapids. That means the Rapids were the last team to "own" him. Why didn't the Rapids get some sort of compensation when L.A. took him and/or be the team that traded him to D.C.?
