Musah in the lineup vs Alavés (Miazga on bench). Google shows him at LM, but they seem to be wrong frequently.

Why can't these Sunday morning games start at a decent hour?

Musah seems to be more inconsistent when playing for his club than the US. It probably has a lot to do with the musical chair positioning. Today he played cdm but a lot of times he is playing second striker or right outside mid in a 4-4-2.

Good today: cross-field switches and passing in the offensive corner

Bad today (pretty much every game) inconsistent on D. There was a play in the second half where he turned on the jets to run a guy down on a counter. It demonstrates that he has the ability to really be an above average defender. But often in games I see him jogging into position, essentially not giving full effort. I wish he would try and model his game after Weston because I think he could be a very good box 2 box midfielder

Feel pretty bad for him today. He ends up hustling in this case to clear a ball and is just a second late. That was a tough point to drop

First viewing of Valencia and they are not good. Their style is hoof and fight. I didn't think La Liga was like that. He is a different player for the US. I don't know why, but they don't play pretty football.

I caught that. Really interesting to hear how highly Valencia think of him. If you look over the past year at his on field time and success I wondered how much faith they actually had in him. The article sort of flies out of left field it seems. It’s hard to understand why they are writing about Valencia in the first place and then to pick out a guy like Musah to focus on, is a bit perplexing?
    But very interesting read nonetheless.

Great first half from Musah. Could have had two assists if luckier. Looking dangerous making runs off the wing despite being moved further back after the wondergoal

Today, he was wasting time leading by a goal against a superior side.

absolutely. I know there's purpose to it- it's just that he does it a lot... for club and country.
