Musah starts and goes 90 in a cup victory against Segunda Division B side Atletico Baleares. He started out, at least, playing like a RWB. Marcos Andre scored in the first minute with no Musah involvement and Baleares never had a shot on goal despite lots of possession. Musah with a 94th minute yellow card.
Musah might not have any memorable moments in La Liga this year, but he's balling out in the Copa del Rey.
saw some site list him as MOTM. I didn't see the game, only saw a game summary- but whereever he played, he got a couple of shots off along with the late yellow.... so he was involved. Was also surprised to see he's the clubs leading Copa Rey scorer.
My friend in Valencia liked what he saw today. Basically said he will get more minutes if he plays like that. He seems to like him more forward.
He played RWB in the 1st half... and was definitely awesome. But the camera angle is so poor when they switched sides that I didn't bother watching the 2nd half. He could have had a couple of assists to go along with another great shot on goal with a heel flick. He was almost flawless in the 1st half... just one bad touch on a long ball... but besides that? He was pretty remarkable. Hopefully an all-touch video will be posted. I don't want to sit thru 45 minutes watching a player that far away from the camera.
He is a string dribbler under pressure. But that still isn't what you should do in YOUR defensive third!
Possible summer move: Valencia CEO Alessandro Messina on Yunus Musah: "For Musah I don't think there will be anything [transfer offers] for January, but in summer there could be something important." #USMNT midfielder excelled in Copa Del Rey again this weekend.— Larry Henry Jr (@lhenry019) January 17, 2022

Nice to hear Luis Garcia talk Yunus up on the pre-match coverage just now as "a special player." Alejandro Moreno follows by saying Valencia needs to determine whether he is best out wide or central.

Watched most of the game. Really promising stuff from Musah. Announcers echoed common comments on this board. When he got on the ball he made things happen, although needs to work on the final ball and stay in control. Was late and scuffed a pass that would’ve put Guedes on goal in the 2nd half. Some of that refinement comes with experience and age. 7.3 on FotMob, 2nd on the team behind Guedes.
