First friendly downgraded from Shaktar Donetsk to some lower division italian side and now this QPR’s friendly against Monaco in doubt | West London Sport http://t.co/pacWdC1JHm— David McIntyre (@davidmcintyre76) July 12, 2015

Lessons to learn from KBK and YSY: don't willingly go to the championship (now I know with YSY he didn't choose championship but he more or less did by going with fcking QPR)
I dunno why an injury is an argument against YSYs career. First choice LB this year and for much of last year when healthy and even got tons of praise on UK commentators when fully fit at PL. unfortunately hasn't been able to stay healthy but hardly a disaster.
Yeah I don't think it's fair to lump YSY in with KBK. Hell, even KBK was looking like he made a smart move when Cardiff got promoted to PL and he was an integral member of the team. This is just the harsh reality of professional sports. cf. Stuart Holden still trying to make a comeback.
KBK is hardly a bust too even if his permit issues are problematic (and YSY will have same next year since he's not first XI for KNT). I mean we aren't talking about altidores here. Maybe YSY didn't pan out the way we had hoped post 12 Olympics and KBK isn't PJS 2.0 but they're doing OK. Not a fan of either career decisions but hardly career ending.
Out for 2-3 weeks minimum, plus more to get fit http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/qpr-new-boy-forced-unfamiliar-9783895
Apparently Konchesky played terribly last weekend. But at least YSY is back in training http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/...re-weeks-qpr-banking-on-konchesky-staying-fit
