Fulham might have actually beaten Rosenberg too.

In general what happened to Porto today? They looked miles away the better team in the first 15' and their quality decreased constantly till the final whistle. At the end it almost reminded me of last year's arse w/ henry. They got spot kicks and all seemed to expect queresma to hand them a ball to score with. Queresma is too old to have a future in the EPL, purseboy was young when he came over and learned to adapt, queresma wouldnt adapt and fail.

Was watchign the Porto Lpool game last night .. Pretty surprised how Porto played .. A high tempo game, which i thought they wouldn't be able to maintain for a long time, swift attacks, great closign down on LPool players, accurate passing .. Though Queresma was my MOM for the game, it was a very good team display .. I se the ball in the LPool half, then i see Jamie Carr. launching it towards Kyut or Torres and they lose possession, another Porto attack starts .. I don't think the ball went through the LPool midfield a lot .. And this is the first time i've noticed Lpool's players' bad 'off the ball' stuff .. Players were immobile, just waiting for the ball t come to them . .Only Torres and Kyut worked their socks off .. But i think a win to Porto would have been a fairer result ..

Yeah, and madrid won too .. Caught the HLs of theat game too . . Raul looks dangerous again ..

And good Chelsea lost a point at home .. I couldn't watch it but i couldn't help imagining Roman's expressions ..

Quaresma is a trick pony and falls over at every opportunity. He has the talent to be a good player (maybe not top class, but a good player) but it's clearly been drilled into him that if someone breathes in his direction he should go down like some low-class hooker.

Wow, Fenerbahce took the 3 points from Inter Milan! That's crazy!

Glad we didn't get Fenerbahce in our group.

iufan82, eh? I feel bad for you, having to deal with all of the rubbish that comes out of southwest Indiana. ;)

    Boiler Up! WOO-WOO!! :D

To your call once more we rally,
    Alma Mater, hear our praise,
Where the Wabash spreads its valley,
Filled with joy our voices raise...

And so on, and so forth.

Well, this is the "other teams" thread, innit? :)

Thats what happens when you get a bunch of people that don't understand football (ie. Abramovich) and buy football clubs. They end up making ridiculous decisions when they feel the slightest of pressures.

It's generally good news. I just hope Jose shows up again very soon - just not in England. I'll miss the absolute hilarity of his press conferences.

Any chance we can get them to keep Big Brother on non-stop from mid august through may?

I'm sure Defoe would like American Big Brother. Its on Tuesday nights - and it's not like spurs players are doing anything then.
