Boro looking absolutely horrid. Ashton scores West Ham's third on a porous defense!

About 5 minutes left before stoppage time in Chelsea-Blackburn... still 0-0.

Samba's down now, looks like he'll be carried off.

    Birmingham 1 - 0 Bolton
    Everton 0 - 1 Man United
    Portsmouth 0 - 0 Liverpool
    Sunderland 2 - 1 Reading
    West Ham 3 - 0 Middlesbrough
    Wigan 1 - 1 Fulham

Chelsea are goalless with Blackburn well into the second half...could be clear at the top! But knowing them they will get a fooking flukey winner as usual.

iu you're right...he does not look at all healthy.

Talk about last ditch defending from Blackburn.

0-0 full time. CLEAR AT THE TOP!!

    Nice work by Blackburn.

I turned that on right at the end, how was there 9 minutes of extra time?

Shevchenko booted Samba in the head (accidentally) and he had to be stretchered off.

Did anybody else see Silvestre's knee injury? That's what I did. Sickening.

Hope Samba is OK. He is a beast and a good player.

I think injuries like that are worse looking after youve experienced it. I broke my arm and strained one of the CL in my elbow doing about the same thing just with my arm. During ultimate frisbee. During gym class.

It looked pretty bad at first, and he was down for a while. Sheva was going after a rebound and Samba got down on a knee to head it away. Sheva's foot connected squarley with the back of Samba's head. At the very least he'll have a massive headache and a bump on his head, if not a concussion.

By the way, how unprolific is Chavski without the Drogmeister up front?

As the match wore on I was thinkin the same thing. Sheva has been a disaster there and not that I mind, but the longer Drogba is out the more they are gonna continue to struggle.

i always underrated lampard, but without him in the chelski side, they have no creativity in central midfield. Here's hoping Ballack and Lamps stay out for longer. Man, that was a boring match, so glad im a arsenal fan!!!!!

I was only able to listen from Barca's website, but it didn't seem like any of them played all that great.

By the end, Henry was left paired up with young Bojan Krkic - who botched a couple decent chances. Bojan had came on for Gio dos Santos, so they were putting a lot of pressure on the youngsters the whole game.

Honestly, it's funny... They loaded up with so many players and at the end of a scoreless draw, they've only got Henry out there out of their "Big Four."

Yeah, didn't feel like watching the replays. What's the defensive depth like at ManUtd now without him?

You guys have done better then I expected so far, congrats.

I'm much happier to see Arsenal and Liverpool on top rather than Manure and Chel$ki.

Lets hope it stays that way all season.....well Liverpool then Arsenal :D

Anyone else going to follow Newcastle-Derby today for lack of other matches on?

Could be a real stinker, I think. My guess is 1-0 Newcastle.

I'm following on BBC, I picked up a bunch of Newcastle players for my fantasy team, and they are doing F-all at the moment. Great. 1-0 to Derby.

Scoring goals certainly doesn't seem to be Newcastle's strength.

A relatively ugly game, but Derby definitely looks better right now.

Yeah, I got suckered by the 6-0 loss to Liverpool, Martins good start to the season, and Owen's performance during the break.

I do have to admit to rooting for the underdog, so it'll be good, in that respect, if Derby get a win. Seems like it took Watford and Sunderland longer to get their first wins in the previous two seasons, so maybe Derby won't be 20th all the way through. And it'll put Bolton in last, and I enjoy seeing that.

Why the fuck did we spank you by the biggest scoreline then? Tit. Seriously, what's that phrase? "It is better to keep your mouth closed and be thought of a fool, than to open it and remove all doubt".
