burrow graduated before transferring to lsu so he is hardly a good comparison for an incoming freshman

That is a good plan but that is only if FCD lets him call his own shots, something they don't' like to let players do. I can't see them giving him the USL opportunities or as much attention this Spring as they did before he decided he was leaving next fall. If he is only on the U19DA team and nothing else, its a pretty good indicator FCD is done with him.

He’s going to be the coolest guy at that school. If he ends up only doing one year at that school no one should ever challenge his commitment to soccer. Imagine you were 18, on the best football team in the country, on the soccer team, on the U20 national team, and had a personal relationship with Dabo Swinney. If you believe that at 18 your will was so strong that you didn’t want to live that for at least one semester you may as well as be a priest.

Is there some Law of the Game that I don't know about that says Adams, Pulisic and McKennie can never be healthy and available at the same time?

relative to the rest of the pool he is - look at whom we’ve given meaningful minutes to in the midfield this year.

I think Pulisic is a lot better than the other two. Adams vs. McKennie is more up in the air. I don’t think McKennie has been done any favors in his first few seasons at Schalke being used as a utility player who plays where the team has a need.

Adams also played RB in this game, which I’m sure a lot of fans are going to love.

I don't care where he played. This has been "two weeks away", for 7 months. I'm sure it was about getting minutes and not some shift to RB.

Is this the top Belgian league? Haven't followed Durkin at all, but any players getting decent run is good for the USNT.

Has anyone watched him the last few months? Has he developed a bit more steel? I remember thinking he was great for a while (good passer, good touch, holds the ball well under pressure), but the last tourney I saw (U20 WC maybe?) he was just too damn slow, and looked more like a current MB than someone who would press for NT minutes.

If his athleticism improves, which why not, he's still young, I could see him pushing for US minutes.

In the YA forum, German posters indicate there's still no word on the incident.
None of the four players have appeared for the club since early November. It appears they were suspended at that time, and have now subsequently been expelled from the club.

Probably just something dumb that young guys tend to do. Nothing criminal or we'd know about that. So Blaine will latch on somewhere else.

If he wants to come back to the states, his status depends on whether he signed a pro deal at Furth. If he did, then any club in MLS can sign him as a discovery player. If he wasn't on a pro deal there, then it gets trickier...………………..
