Park came on in the 83rd minute of our home loss to ManU.

ummm, Jenks wasn't bought for £8m and on the advice of an agent an a DVD.

i think Jenks is quite promising and would get on the field for the majority of Premier League teams.

also the guy is a fanatical Arsenal fan which imho counts for a lot.

I agree completely. The kid shows promise, wasn't a big investment and wants to be at the club. He was put in a situation he probably wasn't ready for at the beginning of the year but that was hardly his fault. He also seemed to really be making progress before he got injured as well. I am glad he is at on the team.

He's probly more like our Darren Fletcher or John O'Shea. Not a great player, but gets the job done when asked.

And he's probably better than O'Shea. And he's a Gooner.

It's hilarious how you all can have such strong opinions about a kid who has played 12 games for us - four of which were as a sub.

i don't even know what to say. i'd rather have Gilbert playing fullback.

I don't really get a chance to see the kids anymore except for their rare appearances with the first team but I've seen enough from Ryo to think that he should be back with Arsenal next season. If he is out on loan again, I'd hope it isn't for the full season. Thinking about some of the deadweight we've played in positions he can cover, I find it hard to believe that we'd have been worse off with him playing some of those games for Arsenal. The only way I could see a full season loan for him is if the club brought in a clearly better player over the summer and thus there was a significant chance that he'd only get some cup games or really rare sub appearances in the Prem over the whole season. In that case, he'd obviously be better off getting first team time at a club like Bolton.

When has logic ever played a role in a person's ability to be 100% sure of their opinion?:D

I thought Coq was excellent at fullback.

I thought Coq was even better in the MF in a 442.

He never seemed comfortable here, with London or the language or the club. He's be pretty open lately about saying he doesn't want to come back to Arsenal.

Definitely want 50% of that. Whoever buys him after Real Soc will pay way more.

yeah, it sounds mercenary and all but it feels like the best case scenario is 4-5M up front and a high sell-on then hope that a couple of 20 goals seasons in la liga generates a big sale.

i always had high hopes for him here. :(

I think 7 million is on the table already but AFC wants more + future sell on.

    i assume that's 7 straight and arsenal want a sell-on? i don't think we'll get 7, let alone more, if we want a sell-on attached.

Seven straight, no sell on. AFC wants sell on. One can see why.

Take four and a fifty percent sell-on. It'll more than make up for it.

How good is Ebecilio? He is bigger than Coquelin and Frimmy. Is he someone who can play a first team role next year?

based on the things i've read, the impression i get is that he's still at least another year or so away but he's highly rated.
