Sorry man, it was just radio LaRed.

But we did end up losing 4-1. So we now have a play off against El Salvador in January. Hopefully our boys can get some quality games before then.

Sub 20 lost 4-1 against El Salvador today. Glad to see ES keeps buiding on their success from 2013. We obviously are getting worse....

    Shame

I only watched a few minutes of the 2nd half. Seemed they played slow and a pelotazo. How'd you guys see it?

Win is a win and I'll take it. But that kid Portillo SUCKS BALLS! Missed a penalty kick and a clear shot on goal.

Next 2 games are going to be really tough. Here's hoping for a good result.

T&T had amazing speed but no thought out attack. Meanwhile our boys played a smart defensive game. There wasn't much of an attack, but took advantage when it came.

I don't know when was the last time we beat 2 upper tier caribbean teams in a row, at any level. Contrary to some of the comments I heard, I liked the way it the game was handled vs. TRI. There was good tactical understanding and execution. There is individual physical strenght and technique and the best of it came out when needed. However, the save in the 80th minute by Hagen was monumental and the main reason for the win, in my opinion. If the rival had scored there, their momentum would have potentiated.

Aruba tomorrow, although theoretically easier, should be taken very seriously. I would not change anything.

I agree with you Cha, that save kept our momentum going and I think Hagen was for sure the man of the match. We have to demolish Aruba tomorrow to get our goal difference up.

The save actually woke up Guate's players as it was the result of a shot which should have never been allowed to be taken, from about 8 yards after the attacker slowly got through 3 players who were incapable of making a clearance. The Trinidad players had begun creeping in and started getting creative, as they typical methods had been failing, while the Guate defense just hung in there, until that save changed things and we regrouped.

Lost the home game 1-0. Did anyone watch or hear about the game and know how we played?

Guate won 2-0 with Aruba bunkering down. A good game and smart play by Guate.

Guate's gonna need to play the best game of the tourney on Wed against Panama.

Quick question here though, don't the top 2 teams from each group get into the WC automatically? The Guate media has made it sound like it's a must win and no tie situation.

Only the top team qualifies automatically in each group. Teams two and three in the groups have to play a playoff game to qualify for the World Cup

Panama keeps on attacking and will score if our defense doesn't hold up.
