I never really liked Bergdolmo, but he has been playing pretty good in the last half of the season. I'd rather like to see de Jong playing in that position in the end though.

Or Mido and Zlatan as strikers, Vd Vaart behind them and Witschge in the mid centre. Sikora on the left.

I think Mido did pretty good in the beginning on the left side.

He's a sharp striker, but not even nearly as dangerous as a combination of Zlatan and vd Vaart are. Until he regains his sharpness I'd put him on the left side where can fool around all he wants. Up front we need killers. Mido hasn't been one for quite some time now.

Litmanen... dependable but not as surprising as a Pienaar / Witschge combination. Can give amazingly beautiful passes though (but not the way he used to).

    My current eleven:

    ..............................Didulica...............................

    ...Trabelsi.....Bergdolmo.....Chivu.....Maxwell...

    ........Galasek.......Litmanen.......vd Vaart..........

    .......vd Meyde.........Zlatan..........Sikora............

My lineup, if everyone's healthy and plays at their true form.

I always prefer to play 4-3-3, but sometimes it's wiser to field 4-4-2, depending on the opponent and the situation.
At 4-4-2, I will line up:

    ...................................Didulica.............................

    ...Trabelsi......Bergdolmo......Chivu......Maxwell...

    ...vd Meyde...Galasek....vd Vaart....Witschge.....

    .......................Zlatan............Mido........................

Litmanen gets dropped cause I will prefer a defensive midfielder in Galasek. We already have an offensive midfielder in vd Vaart. Also, O'Brien can replace Maxwell at no.5, and Maxwell can replace Witschge at no8.

Aren't we such tactical geniuses ??

All these tactical lineups got me thinking: what would it look like if we wereto line up an Ajax all-Dutch eleven ?

    It'll probably look like this:

    .................................Stekelenburg............................

    ....Mendes........Heitinga........Kras.......Sneijder........

    ..........deJong...............vd Vaart.........Witschge........

    ...........vd Meyde.........deRidder..........Sikora............

    Subs: Timmer, Kron-Dehli, Seedorf.

No-one can play at no5, except maybe Wesley, although he's a midfielder/wing player. Ruud Kras is also more of a right-side defender. This is a vulnerable side.

From Ajax A1, I really like Jesi Kujala, although he's -again - more of a right side defender. We need a left sided defender. Plus, he's Finn. (I think).

    Not much else available.
