Just want to know the opinion of the fans on the Azzurri jerseys.....

Personally, I like the current ones (especially with that fourth star, hehe :D ), but I have to say, my favorite jerseys were the 2002 ones sponsored by Kappa best.

    Your opinions?

I like the Kappa jersey too but they wore that jersey beginning in 2000 for the Euro. I know this because that was the last Italy jersey that I purchased and am pretty sure they used the same exact one in 2002. I also like the Diadora jersey they used in 94.

They did. Puma took over in 2003. I remember because by the time I received my training jersey from a friend who works at the Federcalcio, he told me that it had just gotten replaced.

The 2002 jersey wasn't EXACTLY the same. The fabric used was different and the design of the collar was altered. But they do more or less look the same though. These were my favorite kits as well though I'd have to say. The Nike World Cup 98 kit was really sweet also.

2002 for me as well. I've run five marathons in my 2002 long-sleeve jersey. The material wicks moisture (sweat) like no other material can, it inspires me to do my best, and the occasional "forza italia" that I hear from the spectators keeps me going strong.

Ya, these are the only kits from Puma I actually liked. I got an away one for Christmas 3 years ago and I still wear it. Nice design and they're well made.

The Nike 98 was pretty good and helluva lot better than the 96 model that they wore for the Euro. That jersey is probably the ugliest one that Italy has ever worn.
