i would go with Odonkor-------Kehl-----ballack ----borowski schweini dribbles too much and forgets to pass the ball
Kehl* Frings Borowski Ballack * if gets fit ready. (currently injured) @Ph. HSV: Yes, Schweinsteiger dribbles a lot, but is that bad? Sometimes it´s good.
Odonkor and Kehl, both of you have no clue .............Ballack........ Borowski...............Schweini .............Frings........ That's our best formation.
I'd play this: -------Kehl------- Frings-----Scweiny ------Ballack----- I mean, thats why Kehl was put into the team, as a true DM. Schweinsteiger provides the pace and a link up with Poldi while Frings can really hone his skills on the flank where he can show his ability more and of course our captain.
Frings is wasted at DM (and has never played well at the position), Kehl is a much better choice there.
"Wasted", that is actually thebig problem. We have at least 5 really good offensive midfielders in Ballack, Schneider, Borowski, Schweinsteiger and Frings. And we have 2 specialists in Kehl and Odonkor. But only 4 spaces in the team. I would like to field as much of them in the starting 11 as possible. As Klinsmann is no friend of a 3-5-2 and with having Podolski and Klose we shouldn´t try a 4-5-1 and knowing that Friedrich is not the best rightback one can think of, I would try to put Frings or Schneider in the RB position in the defense of a 4-2-2-2. ----------------Lehmann Schneider----Mertesacker----Nowotny----Lahm ----------Frings-----------Borowski ------Schweini--------------------Ballack ---------------------------Podolski ---------------Klose
My middle four: -------Kehl------- Borowski-----Scweiny or Frings) Ballack----- I don't know if Schneider or Frings could work as RB. Schneider is too slow and doesn't have the level to be a regular starter, and Frings could work better as an atacking RM imo...
.......kehl......borowski.... ..schweini..........ballack...... or schneider...kehl schweini..ballack
....................................Lehman ...........................Metzelder.....Nowotny Friedrich............................................................Lahm ...............................Frings........Kehl ......................................Ballack ............Neuville.........................................Schweni .......................................Klose
No need to get sarcastic. Nowotny is only there to guide and motivate the younger players. Neuville is only 3rd to 4th choice. I go with Jaison's choice.
Kehl* Frings Borowski Ballack * if gets fit ready. (currently injured) @Ph. HSV: Yes, Schweinsteiger dribbles a lot, but is that bad? Sometimes it´s good.
gets my vote... bring on odonkor and schweini sometime in the second half... thats when both can have maximum impact...
Question: How good is Borowski as a RW ? I know he plays naturally at the left side, but I've heard he has played sometimes at the RW position at Werder Bremen. My two options: 1) Borowski- Kehl(DM) - Ballack (AM) - Schweni 2) Frings- Kehl(DM)-Ballack (AM)- Borowski
4 spots. And i want Frings/Ballack/Borowski/Schweinsteiger to play. But none of them is a real DM. So Kehl would be the option to play the dm. Lets keep Schweini on the bench as weapon for the 2nd half or the last 30minutes.
