So we now have more 40s than a liquor store on 125th street. And we still have one SI and one allocation left, no? Now what?

Wingers, wingers, wingers. Need to spread the field and send in some crosses once in a while.

and Strikers? If Moreno or Mathis go down, we seem to be in trouble.

Aside from Howard and Jolley, I'm not gonna be able to recognize this year's Metrostars at all. Lots of questions about our players with many of the veterans comming off of poor or injured seasons, and lots of unproven youth. Can't tell how this team will do, though I guess you'll have to say that the season will be interesting.

Andy Williams can probably play as a withdrawn forward as well. We'll have to see what Bradley does with the wing midfielders.

Was this comment a joke? We dealt him for the 4th pick in this year's draft (which we used for Mike McGee).

    It's Mike Magee.

And it this point, I'd venture a guess that our roster is only 70% done. More heads will be chopped, just wait...

With Bradley giving the Metros another makeover, I wonder how many different players will have played for the Metros from the start in 96 through the end of 2003. I doubt if any other team is close.

    [SUPER STAT BOY ALERT]
Counting Alex Dixon, who played in Copa Merconorte but not MLS, 124 different players suited for the Metros in a game that counted. Counting Pope, Moreno, and the 8 picks from yesterday, that number could rise to 134.

Moore still counts as a developmental player, right?

With the P40's that means we have 5 of the 6 P40/DP slots filled. Room for one more. Any rumors of someone from Metros Black signing a DP contract?

I count 17 (out of a possible 18) rostered players now. Most likely, not all these guys will make the squad so will have some room to add here.
