Here's the squad of Barca's B team. We'll see if some of these guys end up in Miami.

    Oier
    Olazábal Paredes Portero

    14-09-89 Rubén Miño Peralta Portero

18-01-89 Alberto Tomás Botía Rabasco Defensa

27-01-89 Jonathan López Rodríguez 'Joni' Defensa

    17-04-87 David Córcoles Alcaraz Defensa

08-05-85 Víctor Manuel Espasandín Facal Defensa

16-03-85 José Antonio Solano Moreno Defensa

    04-02-85 Héctor Verdés Ortega Defensa

    24-06-84 Xavier Torres Buigues Centrocampista

    21-11-86 Andreu Fontàs Prat Centrocampista

14-11-89 José Manuel Rueda Sampedro Centrocampista

    30-01-88 Sergi Busquets Burgos Centrocampista

16-07-88 Thiago Alcántara Do Nascimiento Centrocampista

    11-04-91 Abraham González Casanovas Centrocampista

    16-07-85 Antonio Longás Ferrer Centrocampista

    24-08-84 Víctor Vázquez Solsona Delantero

20-01-87 Manuel Agudo Duran 'Nolito' Delantero

15-10-86 Jeffren Isaas Suárez Bermúdez Delantero

20-01-88 Rubén Rayos Serna 'Rayo' Delantero

    21-06-86 Gai Yigaal Assulin Delantero

    09-04-91 Goran Maric Govorcin Delantero

    23-03-84

Of these names, Jeffren (of Venezuelan descent) and Assulin are two of the most promising. Busquets would be off hands as he's already featuring in the first team. Chip in if you know about the others.

i think it would be great for mls if some of these guys did come over, but to be honest i cant see it happening. a loan deal to the segundo division or even a less competitive la liga team would be more useful for the parent club imo.

There is no doubt that Miami will play some of the players on the Barca reserve team. They will mostly likely come on loan. But one thing is if they start rocking MLS. dont expect them to stay because then Barca will give them first team play. That is the whole point of loaning players out.

True, but the same sort of thing would eventually happen to any great young guys anyway. Once they become too good for MLS teams to afford, they'll move to Europe, at least for the foreseeable future anyways(until MLS raises the cap or adds more D.P. slots). Miami sports fans are used to that sort of thing with the Marlins, so let's just hope Barça has scouts as good as the Fish do for replacing young talent with more young talent.
