Is it just me or did we have a thread like this that I can't find?

Anywho, Joe Corona starting for Xolos in the first leg of la liguilla. Greg is on the bench

I don't think we had a thread like this.

Sean Cunningham has played every minute for Stabæk so far this season, although they are atrocious and have given up 14 goals in six league games, so I'm not sure how much that means. No matter his currently ability and future potential, regular playing time will help him move forward.

Brooks and Kiesewetter were moved down from Hertha II to Hertha U19 about a month ago, which is a little disappointing. Interestingly, Kiesewetter has started at CB for the last three games.

It was more of an ID-the-players thread than a performance tracker.

In any case, this is a decent companion to the Youngsters in MLS thread.

They are still very young. We'll know more where they stand at the end of the summer.

He's pretty tall, maybe 6'2" and also decently muscular. But I think it's a waste of his attacking talent to put him at CB.

Kiesewetter scored two goals in 17 starts at forward for Hertha II, so perhaps Hertha feels that he has a stronger future elsewhere. That being said, he turned 19 a few months ago and is on the younger side for a reserve team. Boyd and Wooten had very nondescript seasons when they were his age.

Kiesewetter is a big, strong guy, and he's been that way for longer than most. It could be the case where a successful youth player is sliding back into the pack as others physically mature and overtake him. Just speculation -- I haven't seen him much at all.
