Quinn Sullivan, Paxton Aaronson and Brandon Craig all starting tonight for the USMNT U-20s v Cuba. Sullivan with the first half hat trick with the third goal set up by a beautiful long pass over the top from Paxton.

The kids have been tearing it up with 2 goals from Paxton (one from each foot from just inside the box) in game 1, a Glesnes worthy strike from McGlynn in game 2 and the hat trick from Sullivan tonight (so far). I think they are responsible for 5 or 6 assists as well. Union representing well at the national level

Yeah they are playing well. I would place an asterisk on it though. They're playing against kids their own age or younger.

Sure it's nice they're performing well for the U20 NT, but the Union needs them to play up to their potential more consistently in order to reach the heights the team is capable of.

No matter how you splice it, to have this many contributors to the premiere* youth national team is quite a feather in the Union’s cap and to their commitment to the academy.

    * I don’t count the U-23 given that they only are there for the Olympics and are far less regularly together.

Paxton opened the scoring by knocking in a free kick taken by Brendan Craig giving him 4 goals so far. Sullivan got the third in the 3-0 win and now is tied for golden boot with 6. On to the finals on Sunday having secured a place at the next Olypics and U20 World Cup.

Revelations Cup game v Peru yesterday featuring 4 of the Uniun Utes (apologies to Joe Pesci). Brandon Craig continues the Union trend of CBs scoring on free kicks smashing in a low shot past the wall from just outside the box. US earns a 3-1 comeback win with Quinn Sullivan providing the assist on the third goal.
