Don't we have a science forum? I guess I'll put this here.

This is some funny stuff. Young-earth creationist Kent Hovind, better known as Dr. Dino, was arrested yesterday "on 58 federal charges, including failing to pay $473,818 in employee-related taxes and making threats against investigators." He's made a career miseducating people about evolution with his "Creation Science Evangelism" organization and its accompanying amusement park in Pensacola, FL.

EDIT: I guess this thread does belong here since we all know that creation science isn't really science.

Didn't Jesus tell his followers to pay taxes?

Oh, and I found it funny that he claimed that the guns the investigators took actually belonged to the church.

Yea, the gun excuse cracked me up as well. And I like how his income, house, cars, and everything else really isn't his. It all belongs to God. As it turns out, God is exempt from paying taxes. :D

"I still don't understand what I'm being charged for and who is charging me," he said.

    Sure, Dr. Dino. Sure.
