Don't we have a science forum? I guess I'll put this here. This is some funny stuff. Young-earth creationist Kent Hovind, better known as Dr. Dino, was arrested yesterday "on 58 federal charges, including failing to pay $473,818 in employee-related taxes and making threats against investigators." He's made a career miseducating people about evolution with his "Creation Science Evangelism" organization and its accompanying amusement park in Pensacola, FL. Evangelist arrested on federal charges More details on Hovind's arrest Kent Hovind on Ali G EDIT: I guess this thread does belong here since we all know that creation science isn't really science.
Didn't Jesus tell his followers to pay taxes? Oh, and I found it funny that he claimed that the guns the investigators took actually belonged to the church.
Yea, the gun excuse cracked me up as well. And I like how his income, house, cars, and everything else really isn't his. It all belongs to God. As it turns out, God is exempt from paying taxes. "I still don't understand what I'm being charged for and who is charging me," he said. Sure, Dr. Dino. Sure.
