Soton still up 1-0, 80 mins in. they'll go top if Newcy don't score.

edit: FT 2-0, Soton go top of the heap in England for the first time in 32 years.

This works - ManU beat Everton -

    1) Oles rocky week ends with a win. This will keep him in the job until the end of the year.

    2) Evertons 4 game title win....followed by 3 losses and what should have been a 4th loss to us.

In the Great Minds Think Alike department, that was exactly my reaction.

Oh please don't compete against the two best managers in football with Ole, Frank, Mikel, and the winner of the Golden Microphone, José. We're terrified!

Maguire got away with a red card because of an offside I thought the Pickford VVD incident had made it clear that a prior offside is irrelevant when it's a dangerous tackle.

I thought I'd share these comments on the Pickford - Maguire brouhaha from The Athletic in an effort to bring calmness and understanding to the issue:

    Michael L.

More anti-Everton bias from The Athletic

    Ethan H.

@Michael L. Everton aren't important enough for publications to have agendas against them. Back down to your level, thanks.

    hahahahahahahaha

    karma's a bitch baby !!

Everton will be sweating on the fitness of Richarlison after he had to be substituted in Brazil’s 2-0 win over Uruguay following a brutal challenge that saw Edinson Cavani sent off.

Spurs now lead 2-0. Kane has been so good at dropping deeper and becoming a playmaker this season.

Doesn't look like we need to concern ourselves too much with Citeh this season. Not sure how serious the threat is from Spuds are this season but don't count out Mou.

Spurs had 2 shots on goal right? Pretty impressive.

City is a shadow of themselves. Really weird that Pep didn’t start Sterling. City had no pace up front. Also - Mahrez was pocketed by the left back.
