More playing time in Germany. Simple as that really. "There is a vacuum of young talent in German football at the moment and they are desperate for him," said Bennett. "There are rumours they will pick him for the next international break." That is an interesting statement.
Imagining some Clockwork Orange type shit going down. LSD and videos of Drogba scoring in finals. I'm for it.
Just read a good Athletic article regarding Diego Costa. There were however cultural differences that clashed with him, which are understandable. BUt still a favorite striker of mine. He also did quite a few charity events, which is always a plus. When I worked on the community side you could tell which ones had their hearts in them. Highlights:
An interesting read, good to hear that he is doing well. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ea-psg-mark-neymar?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other
The FA youth cup is back with us. Chelsea have won this competition 9 times. Today they came up against Fylde. Who put up stirling resistance keeping the score at 0-0 in the first half. They inevitably tired towards the end of the second half but still managed to keep the score at 2-0. Everton or Manchester city in the next round. The game was streamed live on the 5th stand app where you can probably catch the highlights.
Hate having to post this here. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/58380052 GQ continues to get it done and tammy off to a great start in Rome. Hope he absolutely smashes it there and forces us to trigger the clause.
Tammy and Tino both scored yesterday. Love to see it. I still have a very soft spot for Tammy in particular. I think he will sharpen his skills and wind up coming back to us with spectacular results for all concerned
It's a great opportunity for him. So far, he's been damn good and I'm so happy for him. I'm more interested in what next year and later this season looks for him. He did the same for us in his first season. So far, I'm more impressed with the plaudits he's gotten from Italy. I think he could have a massive couple of seasons in Italy and end up back here or England at least.
Tammy scores the winner earlier. Love seeing him succeed and hope he makes it a no brainer to trigger his clause in due course.
So happy for him. He's been doing really well and really taking to life in Rome. It's been great to see. Speaking of former players, I was watching a little PSV on Wednesday and their captain, a certain Mr. Van Ginkel scored the winner for them in the 85th minute I believe. Really happy for him to land on his feet and get the armband for the club he's played at for the better part of 5 years now.
Conor really doing himself proud at Crystal Palace. The kind of all action mid this team could really make use of. Conor Gallagher vs Brighton (H) https://t.co/bBUKXoh9Do— Chelsea Loan Army (@ChelseaIoanArmy) September 27, 2021
Said the same in the other teams thread. I am watching this very closely, because if he doesn't start, what's the point?
Gallagher getting some very high praise from Viera. Told he has what it takes to make it to the highest level. Henry, Roy Keane and others also shouting him out.
Chelsea may reverse their loan decision for Billy Gilmour. Canaries manager Daniel Farke said "we are not here to develop players for other clubs".
Cutting off his nose to spite his face. Another example would be dropping a player because they one day may leave the club.
