As always it was a good show yesterday. Here is what was discussed on the show: Their was a quick interview with Keegan Pierce, spokesman for Chivas USA. This is done at the beginning of every show. I started listening to the show a few weeks ago and it's actually got me quite interested in the club since then. I highly recommend downloading the friday edition of the 2Gs...more than half was Chivas USA. Panchito and Galindo are truly a joy to watch. I won't claim to be a long time fan because I've only really watched the MFL, but the club is truly growing on me.

Just called in and talked to Peter, who had some good info. Says he's been watching the guys at the intrasquad scrimmages and Oscar Echeverry has been struggling a bit, mostly with the athleticism of the team (I seem to remember reading about some knee injury history...perhaps it's caught up with him?). He said Osvaldo has looked really good - incredibly athletic, two-footed, great first touch, and works his ass off every session. It'll be interesting to see what happens w/ Nunez now in the squad - they seem to play similar positions. This show is awesome.
A clip of Landon was played on the show today. A reporter tried to accuse the Chivas of taking cheap shots during the Super Classico. It was big of Landon to deny it instead of trying to find excuses.
Interesting to hear that Echeverry didn't live up to Preki's standards...Big signing next year? Not holding my breath again. Just hope we can quietly scoop up some solid players though. This show is freaking gold. I no longer have to dig around or rely on the local galaxy homers for tidbits of info...<3
