Dallas wins at home, putting us back in second place overall and only two points out of first again. We shut down Ruiz and Cobi Jones. Chicago loses at home to the lowly Revs. Ha! SJ whiffs an opportunity to distance themselves from the pack, getting stuffed in Colorado. A SJ player gets a red card for fouling as the last player on a breakaway. And SJ's Eddie Robinson gets called out on national TV for being a clumsy hack. All in all, a most satisfying soccer Saturday!
I could not agree anymore. However, we must look at the big picture. We still have a very difficult road ahead. I am not satisfied with having a good regular season. I want more. The BURN have an opportunity to do something special. It is time to get behind them and push with all our collective might. The next few weeks will really determine if this where the BURN tradition starts.
