Flo is too cute. He responds to fans as well when he could easily walkaway without bothering. 1557779838823530496 is not a valid tweet id
Coolest president in football. I love watching these fan videos of him speaking with them and sharing laughs.
He hasn't been playing for Madrid in the last three years so we don't care, on the other hand, neither has Messi been playing for Barca and yet here you are kissing his feet. You need to listen when I tell you there's different levels to this.
Yesterday I heard one of the leading sports journalists of one of the country's largest daily newspapers say that "Musiala is a more fun to watch player than Cristiano Ronaldo is right now". Something that did make me laugh though is that "now that Lewandowski left, the team is sharing the ball, playing more like a team, everybody is involved and it looks like they are having more fun" and I remembered the first month or two when Ronaldo left Madrid and everything was easy peezy lemon squeeze, the press were saying the same things about Madrid. Eventually the team figured it out, but it's funny how similar the narrative is, which in my opinion also shows just how by the numbers and cookie cutter sports reporting is.
Ronaldos sister calls Florentino Perez a "75 year old, old man that should show respect", this isn't a family, it's a cult.
Haha, what? Did she respond based on the laugh (with a lot of truth) Perez was having with a couple of fans? Geez. These people..
That's the equivalent of saying "if you're American, you supported the 6 Jan coup attempt". You're smarter than this.
Close to 50% of Americans responsible for electing Trump. Not like his character was a secret either. It was evident throughout the election campaign. In Bartu's case, he won with a resounding majority over Laporta in 2015.
meh... splitting hairs. Barto had 55% of the vote and the voter turnout was poor. In any case, the Barca "fans" that are boo-ing FdJ this week outside the training ground deserve to get hit by a bus. Without even knowing them I know they are hypocrites. But I think most supporters are with Frenkie on this one.
There were apparently only two or three idiots booing FDJ ... oddly Frenkie was cheered the day after with some even asking him to stay ..
You're smarter than this weak generalization. If you vote for someone to enter an office their decisions are a result of those votes. So the decisions made; good or bad or a direct result. You can't turn around and remove all responsibility with this understanding and you are smart enough to know this
Messi is not nominated at all for the Ballon D’Or! Lionel Messi ❌Neymar Jr. ❌The 30 nominees for the Ballon d'Or by @francefootball are here and we have some surprise omissions. 😮 pic.twitter.com/O1YmjJT71g— CBS Sports Golazo ⚽️ (@CBSSportsGolazo) August 12, 2022
So what do people think about the list of nominees, and our nominees? Would've like to have seen Alaba in there somewhere. But our list of nominees seems fair. In fact I'll go as far as to say they all deserve to be in the top 5 save for Casemiro who should be in the top 10.
PL bias definitely. Reminds me of the time when we were winning the CL yearly but Casemiro couldn't find a place in the top 30 yet Kante could. Kane and Ronaldo scored less goals than Iago Aspas and won as much as him.
Haaland??? For what? Lewa had a great season, between him and Mane who should be top 5 along with Benz, Tibu, Modric and Vini imo.
Kane was pretty prolific to be fair. His numbers are what they are because of a slow start but that was 2021. More than PL bias, there's a forward bias. 3 center-backs included in that entire list! lol. Plus another 2 wing backs who don't do much defending. Time to have allocations by position. e.g. top 12 defenders, including 6 CBs, top 9 midfielders, top 9 forwards and 3 best goalkeepers.
France Football announces there will be no Striker of the Year award this year. So essentially, they made that award up last year to give something to Lewandowski and then they cut it out the year after. Likewise, it's funny how Messi won last year's Ballon which was theoretically a calendar year award. Then this year he doesn't get nominated whatsoever and its theoretically a season calendar award. So technically, there is supposed to be overlap between last year's award and this year's award. So he goes from winning it to not being nominated while half of it was overlapped. Last year was such a robbery.
