Nice to hear Jimenez is on the mend. Wish him a complete recovery. Raul is comfortable following an operation last night, which he underwent in a London hospital. He has our love and support as he begins a period of recovery. We're all with you, @Raul_Jimenez9.— Wolves (@Wolves) November 30, 2020
The game between both teams this Friday has been postponed following multiple within the Newcastle first team bubble having tested positive for Covid.
Wonder how many thought in a group with Real and Inter in it, that the other 2 teams (Gladbach and Shaktar) could be the ones making it thru? Very real scenario now potentially after Real's defeat today.
I was thinking about this yesterday. Imagine the odds you'd have gotten on a bet for those 2 to get out of the group... (I'm guessing they were a LITTLE bit better than the 13-1 you could apparently get at halftime on United to come back and get all 3 points vs. Southampton)
I think RBL draw helps us? Istanbul B. Were down 1-3, fought back to 3-3, and have now gone back down 3-4. That's crazy
Draw wouldn't have changed anything. If we get at least a point today, we're through. If we don't then the same again next week due to our earlier win vs. RB -- whether we both finish on 10 or we finish on 10 to their 8 wouldn't matter. If we were to lose our last 2 both PSG and RBL we'd be out either way (as they'd both finish on 12 - or 10 for RB if they had drawn today) to our 9. What's interesting is that we could finish 1st with 2 draws but potentially 2nd with a loss today but a win vs RB.
Lacazette! Fans returned to English football for first time in 272 days. 2,000 allowed into Arsenal were rewarded with sight of this Lacazette Wolf Blitzer wonder goal. Fills heart with joy to see fans back at games. Missed them more than I can say 🙌 pic.twitter.com/uIZfOsNoTf— roger bennett (@rogbennett) December 3, 2020

Leeds are a prime example of how results are still what matters most, when compared to style. Fun team to watch, always seem to enjoy their games and their progressive style. But they still drop lots of points. 12th is a pretty acceptable for a team that just came from Championship but if they tightened their defense just a little, they surely would be in a much more favorable position. I echo some of the complaints about our own style of play (perfectly justified under the circumstances) but the results are still what matter most. As is our current spot in the table. Just hope Ole can strike the right balance sooner rather than later though between results and a more palatable style of play. This team has it in them after all with the personnel on hand...

Should firmly put to bed now any thoughts of possibly going back for him in January as well. Reliable and fit, he would have been exactly one of the things we need the most, no question. A shame too as it obviously has impacted his career.
And Sonaldo at it again today in the NLD: a beautiful goal to give Spurs the lead early. Tottenham, as is their custom, soaking up the pressure from Arsenal and hit them on the break. Pain..... https://t.co/zYpnpnzGZF— TroopzTV (@TheRealTroopzTV) December 6, 2020
Another excellent, sharp counter for Spurs and Kane now (from Son: what a duo they're turning into) makes it 2-0. Right at the stroke of halftime too.
AFTV and chill in full effect today: should be a doozy. The Goons can take solace in the fact that Arteta is perfectly following the Ole playbook: a great start providing renewed hope to the fanbase, followed now by some pretty consistent abject stuff. Perhaps a renewal is in the cards, provided he survives to make it that far... But they're looking nothing like the team they were at the tail end of last season. And Auba has been the Invisible Man since signing that new contract.
Some good news re Jimenez. Raul Jimenez has been discharged from the hospital and is now resting at home with his family, Wolves have confirmed. pic.twitter.com/em82Oqt2U4— ESPN FC (@ESPNFC) December 8, 2020
Would love it if Gladbach were to cause the upset and beat Real. Probably wouldn't be good for us on a couple of levels (the Poch factor and them being possible upcoming opponents. But it'd be pretty funny seeing them being busted down to the EL for the first time. Already in the lead though but Gladbach has obviously come to play. Benz with another for the brace: well I guess it was nice to dream for a min, lol...
Pretty funny seeing Gladbach huddled pitchside watching the end of the Inter v Shaktar on a tablet. Inter are another club who have blown it in the CL. They gave themselves a great shot at qualification after beating Gladbach away last week, with their last game at home to Shaktar. And they couldn't get the job done today. Out of Europe completely, so they can focus on trying to chase AC Milan down for the title I suppose...
The teams that made to the CL round of 16. Shameful that we're not on that list (especially after how we started this campaign). Still not over it...
