Well he's not going to play regularly for Cincy... need a level between MLSNP and MLS because there are many such cases (as a Quakes fan I would put Oscar Verhoeven in the same bucket)... 🇺🇸 Gerardo Valenzuela (‘04) is too good for MLS Next Pro. 5 goals and 1 assist in 2.5 games this season. Should be playing more for FC Cincinnati’s first team 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/gL5q6NIqHJ— American Ultras Talk (@ameriultrastalk) October 6, 2024
🇺🇸 This is getting ridiculous. Alex Freeman (‘04) with a great solo run and finish. 8 goals and 9 assists from RB in MLS Next Pro this season 🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/IVoVcN5CPW— American Ultras Talk (@ameriultrastalk) October 6, 2024 Not knowing a ton of Orlando but any particular reason he’s not getting more of a first team opportunity there?
Coach has a history of being reticent to play young Americans. Team is in win-now mode. They have some okay RB’s, including an American a year older than him who has more first team experience.
idk how much of these players leaving is cuz of DCU not having a NP team, but‘06 Tey Mohammed - Montpellier ‘08 Milo Robinson - Swansea‘06 Alessandro Maldonado - NK Istra‘07 Luka Bentt - Brentford‘06 Gleb Bogdanov - Casa PiaAll in the last ≈18 months from DCU to Europe https://t.co/CHPMR2yqMx— CONCACAF Wonderkids (@CONCACAFWONDERS) October 12, 2024
This is crazy... USL League One needs to start asking some hard questions about the purpose of the league. There are less than five U-20 domestic players who play regularly (12 team league). Please infuse more youth next season. A de-facto 4th division shouldn't be all veteran players.— USMNTProspects (@ProspectsUsmnt) October 15, 2024

Late subs Peter Soudan (06') and USYNT winger Vitaly Hlyut (08') scored their penalties as Fire II advanced past Orlando B on penalties. Orlando B's Tahir Reed-Brown (06') scored his penalty, but in the 5th round dual national Favian Loyola's (05') spot kick caromed squarely off the post to open the door for Fire II to advance.
