What position does Yildiray Basturk play? Is he an attacking central midfielder or is he a right-sided midfielder?

Currently he plays central offensive midfield (playmaker) at Hertha,
but i think he can play both positions.

He is ok there...but clearly his best position is central offensive mid.

To characterize him isn´t easy, TOLH can do it better, i think,
    but here´s my try:

Bastürk has a good ball control,
a strength of him are his tempo dribblings,
because he has a good acceleration.
But he has also an eye for his teammates
and plays passes, that create good situations
for his team, especially at counters.

His "weak points" are his tacklings
    and his headers.

Thats about right. One of the most exciting players in die Bundesliga IMHO. Clever player. He also has a good eye for goal (5 goals this year). Injury prone also :(

    ps:

    He is a good creater.

I remember Cl Final vs Real Madrid game..that season he was tremendus..
and Turkey NT at WC2002 Finals..in Japan /Korea.

All i say; T.NT and Hertha Berlin lucky to have him.

I agree...when he plays well, we play well. He maybe the most important player on the team.
