I hate Liverpool FC. But to suggest Hillsborough was the Red********e fan's fault is disgusting. I am very pro-free speech, but only if you are willing to take responsibility for your words, and I'd love to see this excuse for a man walk into a pub on Mereyside (pr most other places in England for that matter) and say this. Disgusting. Especially as he claims to be a Celtic fan, and Celtics positive reaction to Liverpool when they played in Glasgow soon after the tragedy is so well recorded. I am appalled. He goes or I do, and I hope the whole Liverpool forum has the guts to join me in this.

Also STEVIE G IS A HERO NOW! He stood up to the big money and said love of a club is more important! I hate the cvnt, but love what he has just done.

 

Must admit, I agree. Whilst Silvio has said several things with which I do not agree, this time, Silvio, that is stepping way over the line. You obviously have a blinkered view on life. Liverpool fans also died at Heysel, later reports have said Liverpool fans where not the major factor behind Heysel, a major one, but not the overriding factor. I think that went to segregating policies. Lets not forget, Liverpool fans died there, too.

Hillsborough. Police where to blame, period. It wasnt a riot, it was Liverpool fans being grouped into too small an area, and yet more came, leaving them with nowhere to go.

With your comments, Silvio, you are insulting the dead. I look forward to an apology.

Well, wether or not the fans to blame is immaterial now. Hopefully, good has come out of these incidents, and we can still learn more.

 

Ignorance. Ignorance acted upon, moreover. Silvio's problem, really. Especially given that this thread appears to be motivated by the same sort of lazy disinformation from southern media outlets that have led to such ignorance about Hillsborough and Heysel.

It's more fool him if he believes it and it's more fool him if he lacks the dignity and self-respect to prevent himself from putting his name to a thread as idiotic as this.

I don't see the point in banning someone for being stupid. Christ, Bigsoccer would be a wasteland if we started doing that.

No - if you really want to do something about this, then please send Silvio a donation of £5 each so that he can come over to Liverpool and expand on these clever little theories of his down at my local boozer. I'm sure he'd appreciate such an opportunity far more than simply disseminating such views from the anonymous safety of cyberspace.

Silvio Dante u seriously need to check your facts about what occured in these events, it saddens me to see this attitude and im sure u have posted more for shock attention than anything else either that or u are very ignorant as you seem to be showing very little knowladge of thse events.

sure liverpool along with many clubs had a reputation for hoolaganism but to say we are to soley to blaim for events at hysal and share any blame for hillsborough is rediculas.

i dont know what the cse is with SG but if he has rcieved laeeter like that then i for 1 would be embarresseed and would have to say the majority of lpool fans woud comdem this.

I'm totally against this article and I'm even more digusted that an Irish person would say such a thing knowing the connections between the Irish and the city of Liverpool. Furthermore the fact that he would call himself a Celtic supporter makes this even more unbelievable due to the ties amongst many Celtic and Liverpool supporters and in general the clubs itself.
