Lots of goals today with 28 in 7 games. Should be more to come with the remaining three games. Interested to see the Everton-Villa game tomorrow.

 @ Chelsea's defending for the 8 minutes where they gave up the three goals to Bolton.

I think the general consensus is that Arsenal fans want a tie in the Villa/Everton game, am I correct?

I can't speak for everyone, but that's what I am hoping for. I would settle for Villa losing though.

A somewhat difficult April, though May looks easy. A draw would be good for us.

Sat. 25 10:00 ET Everton v Manchester City

    Sat. 2 7:45 ET Sunderland v Everton
Sat. 9 10:00 ET Everton v Tottenham Hotspur
Sat. 16 10:00 ET Everton v West Ham United
    Sun. 24 11:00 ET Fulham v Everton

I read an interesting point on si.com that I had wanted to comment on myself in the Villarreal post match thread before reading the article. The thread was locked though. It talked about how important fitness has become. While watching the match Tuesday, this is exactly what I thought during the second half. They passed and ran around us for 45 minutes but could not continue it physically for another 45.

I believe it was thebigman who brought this up after the round of 16, saying how the technical/skill gap between English clubs v. Continental clubs has closed, and now the English clubs have the upper hand due to their preexisting physical/athletic dominance.

    Kudos bigman.

I see 12 more points so they finish on 63.

As long as Arsenal picks up maximum points against Pompey, Stoke, and Boro, I see no reason to sweat 4th anymore.

We should be very wary about finishing 4th until we make it a mathematical impossibility or carry a 6/9 point lead going into the last 2-3 games of the season where we can just ride out the rest of the games on goal difference.

I was hoping for a tie tomorrow, but after seeing Everton's schedule, I think a win for them would definately be best for us.

    i dont rate the arguement

    werder knocked out ac milan

are werder better than ac milan overall?

u should take into account we have no winter break, harsher physicalities and a faster game that isnt suited to referees who are soft and give fouls for divers

the rest of the prem can compete with the non top 4 in la liga and serie a

they would compete but ultimately lose out over 2 legs AND, yes, werder are better, right now, 'cause milan are being cheap bastards and not buying any class cbs to replace maldini and nesta.

i dont care if you have kaka, messi and aguero. you wont get anywhere without a decent defense against diego and co.

yes Werder are better than AC Milan, I have no idea what you are saying there...

Werder have underachieved this season, but they are a Champions League-caliber side...

you keep arguing about the physical, the question was are premiership sides of the same technical quality as the rest of the Europe, the answer, imo, is no
