I'd say that the top scoring CB in EPL probably scored half a dozen goals, but probably more than a few scored 2 or 3. I'd be extremely happy if Mina doesn't score but plays 30+ games this season. Ok, let him score thrice.

PS., just checked, top scoring defender netted 5 goals, while 22 scored at least 3.

I have no doubt he will score. Probably not 5 but he will get his and show off his new dance moves.

Not bad roster of Everton...they should at least assure a spot in Europa League-

First goal he just missed timed it and the pass went to the goal scorer for an easy finish.

Second goal though they were pushing hard to try to tie it up. Not really his fault. It was a good counter and taking advantage of the situation.

First goal is not his fault, that’s not his man. Keane completely missed the run it’s on him. It would have been great if he got that stop though.

First goal he probably shouldn't have come out into no mans land leaving too much space behind him. Sure it wasn't "his man" who scored but defending is all about avoiding giving space in dangerous areas and Mina was caught in no mans land, came out when he couldn't reach the player with the ball and didn't recognize where the space which was exploited. Not the end of the world, and communication and organization will get better when he has more time playing but nonetheless I expect better from him.

*meh looking back at it its a great run and pass after they were overloading the weak side, the midfielder needs to commit to close down the player with the ball which would allow Mina to drop off knowing its covered, tough spot to defend and that's a team organization break down.

Watched some of the game yesterday.

Not sure if he has awful positioning or when the coach has him go up to attack his mf doesn’t help him.

Mina had a really good game and was all over the place against City even though they lost 3-1 in the end. He was really unlucky not to have a goal or two with the goalie making a couple good saves off corners.

I saw the game last night, since I was too busy during the weekend. He played solid defense (although WH didn't create much trouble) and he had an astounding 4 or 5 shots on goal, all headers from corner kicks; one went in but was ruled a foul, the keeper saved 2 or 3 and another one went wide.
