Lineup: -------Jerzy Biscan----H-H----Riise Diouf---DiDi---TLT----Murphy --------Heskey---Smicer Luzi Cheyrou Kewell FSP Otsy I like the chance to put all three H's together again. Also to rest Harry and FSP for Spartak London. TLT needs a chance in the middle although its a 50/50 thing that GH plays Cheyrou.
I'm pretty sure Owen is going to play in this one. My lineup would be: Dudek Diao.....Hyppia.....Henchov....Riise Diouf....Hamann.....Smicer....Kewell .........Owen......Pongolle....... I don't like Diao at right back, but I really don't want Biscan there. We should be able to beat Yeovill without our best squad, but I chose our best squad anyway. I think Owen, should and will play. He is ready to return, and its a good idea that he gets a game in before the Chelski match.
Lets hope we put Yeovil away early so we can rest some players in the second half before the midweek game against Chel$ea.
I expect that if Owen is able he'll be on the subs list and get 20 minutes. I'd still rest Harry who is coming back from injury and we'll need him for Chelski.
Yeovil at Yeovil..... I'm not placing any bets...!!! I agree with Michael as a sub and Harry to rest though. The FA Cup and 4th place would keep me happy...THIS YEAR. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO THE BOYS AND ALL THE LIVERPOOL FANS ON THE BOARD...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TA! MRO is not Red, He's a sock puppet for "Everton" scouse. But you're right, he does post here and even if I wish he wouldn't I'll still wish him all the best.

Interesting lineups posted so far. Let me mess things up still further with mine: ....................Dudek Otsemobor--Hyypia--Henchoz--Traore ......Diouf--Hamann--Murphy--Riise ............Heskey--Pongolle Subs: Luzi Biscan Owen Le Tallec Smicer Give Owen 20-30 minutes in the second half, if at all possible. This side ought to give us enough strength to overcome a motivated Yeovil, yet still keep us fresh for Chelski/Chel$ea/Spartak London. . . . ----
Not bad. I think D-Jimmy is in the deep dog house. Otsy is a good choice but GH took him off very early against City in a tactical decision -- he wasn't defending well or getting forward either. He would, however, understand what a FA Cup tie means. Spuds and Heskey need to play for the same reason. I just think that this will be a physical match with the Yeovil lads running around looking to get stuck in early. Due to that, I'd play Vlad the Currently on Fire at the beginning and save Mikie or FSP for late. Either to get a run or to get us a necessary goal (God forbid).
This interesting piece gives a sense of the level of interest in the match in Yeovil: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/somerset/3365277.stm
Do you guys think that Welsh should be given a chance in Gerrard's spot? I saw on Sky Sports that he is one of the 5 youngesters to watch for 2004. The kid has talent, and is supposed to be "the new Gerrard." This would be a good game to give him a start.
Yeovil 1 Chris Weale 8 Lee Johnson 2 Adam Lockwood 5 Colin Pluck 12 Hugo Rodrigues 4 Terry Skiverton 24 Paul Terry 6 Darren Way 20 Gavin Williams 10 Nick Crittenden 9 Kevin Gall 13 Steven Collis 16 Andy Lindegaard 23 Jamie Gosling 18 Kirk Jackson 7 Adam Stansfield
Liverpool Jerzy Dudek 1 Stephane Henchoz 2 Sami Hyypia 4 Igor Biscan 25 Dietmar Hamann 16 Harry Kewell 7 Danny Murphy 13 John Arne Riise 18 Vladimir Smicer 11 El Hadji Diouf 9 Florent Sinama Pongolle 24 Patrice Luzi Bernardi 29 Djimi Traore 21 Bruno Cheyrou 28 Emile Heskey 8 Anthony Le Tallec 20
We're underway. Yeovil Town kick off. Someone sends in a cross and Dudek grabs it. He comes down grabbing his thigh because Riise caught him.
