If you recieve a total of 2 yellows, you get a 1 game suspension. After the quarterfinal games, the yellow totals are reset to 0. If you recieve your second yellow in a quarterfinal game, though, you will be suspended for the semifinal. When a player serves his suspension, his card total is reset to 0. So if a player got yellows in the first 2 games, he would be suspended from the 3rd. If he then got yellows in the round of 16 and the quarterfinals, he would be suspended again for the semifinals, but eligible for the final.
