PLEASE change the Team name to Tottenham Hotspur - no 's' on the end - that is only used when using the shortened form of 'Spurs'.

Beat me to it. Mods, please change the title. As much as I really can't stand Spurs, it's the same as refering to D.C. as "The United"

Hotspur is Henry Percy, a rebellious nobleman and a main character in William Shakespeare's Henry IV

 

Hoya is from Hoya Saxa something those Georgetown people yell, because they're really into Latin.
