Yeah, thanks guys! Great photos. Don't recognize some of the them, but it will be interesting learning who they are. Since you were at the game can you give us a run down on the game, esp. how the Washington players did? It sure would be appreciated!

Nice photo of Lo Schott and Abby Wambach on the way up for the header attempt. Looks like they can get some pretty good air. Freedom website said Lo started and had a strong game at m/f. I didn't know she played much m/f. I do remember her running the flank at Cal in some games. I think in an earlier post I corrected someone who was saying she was drafted as a m/f. My mistake, I've always thought of her as a striker . . E.C.

With the talent in camp at forward (Mia, Abby, Bai, Jacqui, and Meredith) playing mid might be Schott's only chance to stick around. The word I got though was that none of the draft picks (including Schott) were very impressive.

    Bad Info?

I don't know where you get your info. but I can only say I will take the word of whom ever wrote this article over yours. Or maybe you have an inside scoop? Anyway the writers seem to differ from yours, read the last part under notes.

    Re: Bad Info?

I saw the article, but I will take the word of someone I know was at the game, rather than some drole from a Freedom staff writer.

    Re: Re: Bad Info?

Just a thought but I think maybe you have a friend on the bubble. I wish you well but don't take credit away from a draftee who's doing well, it really is in poor taste. Anyone who can come out and play well at this level deserves credit. Maybe you think all Freedom staff writers are droles. I don't think anything is going to be written unless the coaching staff gives their approval, just a thought! Be mature, be confident in others you'll enjoy life for what it is, it is good. By the way is your friend a PTH also?LOL
Keep your Boots close to the door there's hope for everyone. By the way can you give us your opinion on other Freedom website articles that are so misleading. You can be our critic. See think positive it can work into something real special.
I enjoy the Freedom Website as well as the writers. I thank them for their commitment. E C

    Re: Re: Re: Bad Info?

Thanks for the pep talk, but unfortunately I don't know any of the players personally. As to the Freedom staff writers, I am sure they are all good writers, but as promoters of the league they are going to do their best to paint a pretty face on what maybe a pig. I usaully only post to give some insight on to what I or a friend saw at a game. If you read these boards long enough, you will learn that the Freedom site is just about the worst place to look for an accurate or detailed game report.
    As to another topic:
Your selfless defense of Laura Schott is admirable, and I don't mean to pick on her by any means, but the constant banter from you about how she is the next coming makes me wonder whether you are a relative or close friend. If your are thats cool, but it gets obnoxious to hear you pumping her up all the time. She may make the team, but my personal opinion is that she along with any other draft picks or tryout players are going to have a hard time, so don't take it personally if I report that she may not have played that well. Remember, these boards are for posting opinions about players and team, not other Board members.

    Welcome to reality Go Freedom

I don't know Schott personally and her game speaks for itself. Nice of you to recant about the writers. It shows some class. I've watched some of the west coast players. I've watched a few east coast players that have been drafted. If they were drafted they all showed superior play.If they do well they get credit deserved. I do like Schott's game and aggressiveness. On other boards I've also spoken about Wallis Withers Wagner Gaston Montgomery Welsh Solo and many others. If you happen to see them on the pitch I for one would welcome your remarks. This does NOT mean we will agree w/ you. Especially the remark about the writers and the pig remark and the banter remark. I've posted an article and given info about Schott on this and other sites, If other people have info on players post it so we can know more about them. I hope they post it. I still think she could be the diamond they are looking for! Thanks for your reply. E C
