Looks like he has been on a good roll: Fresh off his hat trick from earlier in the week, Jann George scored today as Greuther Fürth II leads Memmingen 5-1 in the second half.— Over There (@socceroverthere) September 12, 2014

Looks like George got a second in the Memmingen game. That puts him at 7 goals in 10 games for the reserve team.
Shouldn't this be in the Academy subforum? Unless I missed a first team debut? @Friedel'sAccent @bungadiri
And the beat goes on... Jann George scored twice in Greuther Fürth II's 3-3 draw to Eintracht Bamberg today. That gives George seven goals in his last three games!— Over There (@socceroverthere) September 16, 2014
I wonder if he has a good chance to at least make the bench for a league game for the first team this season.
well before his first ever knee injury, he was an uber-talent. After, he was still considered a big prospect. I think he eventually has a decent career in the bundesliga. Europe league level.

Scored another goal today. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...fuerth-ii-1420_sv-schalding-heining-1396.html He has 8 goals in the last 5 games for the reserves, and 10 total in 13 games. Greuther Furth II are 12th out of 18 teams in the Regionalliga Bayern.
The Regionalliga Bayern is supposed to be the weakest of the R-Ligas but he's on a bit of a roll. Is this good enough to parlay his way to the first team after the winter break? Also, he's acquired a reputation as a jerk/headcase in the past. Any news on whether that's improved?
No information from my end, but he's playing and hasn't been released yet. He also made the bench for the first team in a Cup game; that sounds like a reward for a player who's at least behaving OK.
0:35 mark. He also scored a goal with the senior team today in a friendly against Chemnitzer FC -> http://www.greuther-fuerth.de/profis/spiele/spielbericht/gt3/08-10-2014-cfc.html
Jann just made his 2. Bundesliga debut for Greuther Furth as a second half sub. Match is currently in the 70th minute with Furth trailing 4-2 to FSV Frankfurt.
You give me a chance to strip to my boxers, paint my nipples and run around the house and I'm taking it every time.
He came on at halftime for a left-back in a bid to turn around a 2-3 deficit. According to the Kicker writeup, it looks like he didn't help as they ended up losing 2-5. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...gg-greuther-fuerth-82_fsv-frankfurt-1295.html
He got a "5" for his efforts. An inauspicious beginning but it's a long way to the top if you want to rock-n-roll. Even with Groy-tehr Fjurt.
