Jann George is doing a great job of taking advantage of bad clearances & defense

He got the ball down off his chest and passed it in almost one quick, fluid motion, then ran immediately to a spot to make himself available to the player to whom he passed the ball. And if all of that wasn't great, that shot.... wow.

I’m happy for Jann. Years ago, one of his former coaches in Germany told me Jann had all the talent to go a long way but his attitude was terrible (his specific words were “he’s just a big baby” & “he’s totally hopeless”).

Right now, it looks like George has put it all together. He’s playing great. At 25, he’s neither old nor young but it’s better to get your career on track later than never at all.

because of card accumulation he's going to miss the next game which is vs Boyd's Darmstadt.

now it's unlikely Jahn will get any chance at promotion and with a Summer 2019 contract and how he's been picking it up recently, wonder if he's attracting any attention from 1BL.

Undoubtedly he is, but his previous behavioural issues at various clubs would make clubs cautious about paying a transfer fee, especially as he's out of contract in June of next year.

Makes much better sense to see if he sustains his recent form into the new season and then wait until Christmas to make a pre-contract offer or swap one of their fringe players to fill a major hole in his current club's roster ("you give us George for free and we'll give you a fully-fit veteran CB who's lost his place to our emerging U-23 CBs.until the end of the season").

Personally, I think it's more likely to be a promotion contender than a BL1 side, but who knows.

I had forgotten that Joe Enochs was now the boss at Zickau.

Maybe that's where Haji Wright should go!

    Went 85 minutes in a 2-1 win.

Scored 7 goals and picked up 3 assists in 29 games (23 starts) during the 2017-2018 2. Bundesliga campaign. Also, had an assist in one German Cup start.

team lost 2-1 to an OL side, so no more Cup games for George until next season.

scores his 1st of the season to make it 2-2 although Arminia scored later on as it's already 3-2 for Arminia inside 33 minutes, lol.
