Don't think he's wrong. Debatable whether he should have said it because you know how the media can be but hopefully yaser can keep focused and continue improving.

This could mean he starts on Wednesday in the Champions League.

Solis is coming in for more defensive midfield work to try and hold on to the result.
    No Yaser yet.

At least they scored. But missed the 3 points again. No minutes for Yaser, but he'll probably get to play against Feyenoord.

Damn. Michel seems to be very disappointed with Yaser. But in a way I'm glad he removes some of the pressure on him.
What's surprising though is to see Miovski in the starting line-up. He's been a complete flop. If they somehow expected Yaser to settle down faster, he's been much better than Miovski so far. If he scores I'm gonna eat my hat.

Really hope they'll find the net though and that Yaser comes on later and scores one of his own, or at least sets up a second goal.

    Good luck Girona!

There's only nine guys on the bench and with five subs you would think there is a good chance both Solis and Yaser will play.

Short-lived joy for Girona. 1-1. Don't like the ref so far. Strange to see so many empty seats in that small stadium.

Man what a shitty team. 1-2 and now a penalty for Feyenoord. Disaster.

    Half time 1-2.

Really dumb decision making on the 1-2 goal and the penalty they conceded.

On the goal the player had about 2 easier passes going forward but had to pick the most difficult one. And the penalty was even worse, their goalie passing his defender in the penalty box having a Feyenoord player right behind him.

They were calm in possession up until the goal. Hope Michel doesn't wait too long with bringing on Yaser.

Yaser came on late and played pretty well delivering several dangerous crosses.

I feel like he needs to take this team by the scruff and by the alpha.

His talent is so clear every time he touches the ball.

This would be a replay of him at Watford, manager held him back and wasn't starting him and Yaser kept his head down didn't complain and soon he was the man for that team and his talent took care of the rest. I think he'll do well and he seems to have a good head on his shoulders, hopefully we see the same scenario play out.

I will say its probably a good spot he's landed to play and be the man, Girona had more money then they would normally because of how much they over achieved last year and sold some guys, but long term its gonna be really hard for Girona to make it back to something like the champions league, but that's probably good for us that Yaser will be tasked with being a leading figure every game and we need that.

Smooth technique is there. Knowing what to do with the ball and scanning the field with his vision is all basically on point.
His personality and temperament is even-Keeled which I guess is okay for the most part. But just seems a bit timid and bland sometimes.
If he had Duran's personality / attitude he would be much more of a star, however he would be getting yellows and dirty looks from refs so I am not going to nitpick too much. Just hope he does grow and show more of an edge/ tougher personality. If he is the true heir apparent to James he is going to have to show more of that type of presence. Right now he still seems like a young kid who is trying his best to show he belongs. (Which he is, I know.)
