Remember the trials/training stints of Bocanegra, Howard, and Zaynor?

    Feyenoord looking to strengthen

"The keepers’ crisis at Feyenoord is an obvious concern, with Zoetebier, Lodewijks and l'Ami all struggling for fitness and a new keeper is an absolute priority, says Baan."

That article doesn't say anything about signing a yank. It does say something about they prefer to sign a dutch player on loan and they are negotiating with a columbian player. I don't know why people would shoot their wad over things like this.

  3. The article doesn't mention Howard is about to re-up with MLS.

Howard just trained there there for a few weeks. That's why it's significant.

Howard just re-signed with MLS, don't expect him at Feyenoord.

Sounds like a situation tailor-made for Ian Feuer. :)

Just a thought, but if Feyenoord's GK problems are temporary due to short-term injuries, then signing a GK on loan makes some sense. If Howard impressed, he might be just what they are looking for and he could be back for the MLS season.
