That’s the Salzburg reserve team. It’s never bad having players such as Sandler, Pierie, Okoh eligible for us. It is possible that these players are good enough for the USMNT, but not Netherlands or Switzerland.

FMF scouts are intimately familiar with all of the Mexico-eligible kids at FCD.
Nothing surprises me. It doesn't take a genius to be in the stands scouting Pepi, Letayf, Carrera, etc. and think................................I wonder if that left back Gomez is eligible?

 

Unless he clearly prefers the Mexican program, I think the U-17 snub would lead to this instead of this being the reason why he’s not with the U-17 NT.
