Pepi knocked of the ball on halfway, El Hadj dribbles through the entire PSG team to score a Messianic goal.
Pepi had a shot from an angle and a header from 10 yards both at the keeper. Dest got forward a lot but couldn't really create anything and had to do a lot of scrambling back. USG just outclassed PSV and will be enjoying their 90 minute drive back to Brussels.
McKennie listed as right center-back for Juventus. Campbell on the bench for Dortmund. Weah starts for Marseille.
PSV lost 3-1, Marseille losing 2-1, Juventus losing 4-2, Wednesday lost 1-0. Pretty lousy day at the office today
WOW holy comeback Juve, 2 goals in 90 minutes to make it 4-4. Thought that was for sure dusted. Weston was subbed off at 60 EFL........Chris Richards was subbed on 62nd minute, game ended 1-1. Richards was penalty kick taker number two.........and converted. Looks like Crystal Palace will advance
Pepi had a rough day. He’s going to get blamed for the first two goals by PSV observers and he was largely anonymous out there. He’s going to have to do better. It’s still early in his return so its unfortunate and unfair, but its reality. Dest was a presence in the game and made some plays, but PSV as a whole looked lackadaisical.

"EFL........Chris Richards was subbed on 62nd minute, game ended 1-1." Uh, this ignores the fact that Richards scored the goal to take the lead! (And, as mentioned, took their second PK and it was a very good one.) His goal at 6:18 mark:
He was subbed on, not off. It was an early round cup game, so the big boys didn't start for CP. CP have quietly been one of the best teams anywhere for a while. They haven't lost an official match since... last April? And they have played some real heavyweights, including Pool and Man City. To be fair, they've played a few dogs too, like Chelsea They just don't let in goals. And Mr. Richards is a big part of that.
Palace made 4 changes last night. They probably would have rested more players but there was local pride at stake.
Thanks for the correction. I'm becoming hyper sensitive to our best possible starters getting injured. Sounds like he came on and won the game for them. becoming a real leader and it shows with the US too.
If palace lose that other English centerback, and it seems like not a question of if but when, then Richards is going to be the big show in town
I believe Richards also made the line breaking pass that set up the corner on which he scored. Worth a look.
